The Travois development team is known for helping our clients develop safe and affordable housing

Taylor Higgins reached an important career goal recently. After completing college, finishing up required internship hours and passing seven (!) licensing exams, Taylor is now a licensed architect for Travois Design & Construction Services.

Bryan Schuler, vice president for housing development, has been helping tribes and tribal housing authorities to develop affordable housing projects for 12 years this month.

We start each Travois conference off with a welcome reception for attendees to network and have some fun. This year, we’re taking the party to the dance floor.

Many of you know the story of how my father, David Bland, and my mother, Marianne Roos, started Travois back in 1995.

We help clients reach the critical goal of providing decent, safe and affordable housing for families who need them. But after a project is funded, construction is completed, and homes are rented to families, we’re not finished. The hard work continues: managing and maintaining the homes.

Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) are essential components to building strong communities. Travois is a proud supporter of the American Indian College Fund and its efforts to provide scholarships and support for the nation’s 34 tribal colleges.
