This month the Travois Anigadugi Volunteer Committee partnered with Harvesters, a local nonprofit organization that strives “to feed hungry people today and work to end hunger tomorrow.

The Travois Anigadugi Volunteer Committee has completed its latest project. We decided to “adopt” a Kansas City family in need this holiday season. (And we’ve recently renamed ourselves.

At our Kansas City office, our team members have recently begun decorating for the holidays to get in the spirit of the season. We also enjoy a friendly competition, so neighbors in rows of offices are working together to coordinate decorating, and one group will be chosen as the winner.

During November each year, men around the U.S. and world grow moustaches to help raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.

It’s a busy week! We are proud to have been named to the ImpactAssets 50 2012, a publicly published database for investors and financial advisors to easily identify private investment opportunities that offer both financial and social or environmental returns.

Travois is honored to host the September meeting of the Kansas City Urban Core Group in our office. The group selects a different Kansas City-area business each month to highlight “urban pioneers” who are revitalizing and enriching the city.

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce has been spotlighting the importance of small businesses (fewer than 250 employees) on the regional economy for the past 26 years.
Out of several hundred nominees, Travois made the final cut of the top ten nominees.

The Travois headquarters is located next to a busy street, Broadway Boulevard, in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City, Mo. The Crossroads Arts District is a very vibrant area, full of art galleries and local businesses.

We are participating in Kansas City’s annual Corporate Challenge. Corporate Challenge is an Olympic-style event that encourages Kansas City area companies to interact with each other through a variety of sporting events.
